Woodmont Pool Vandalism

Hello Neighbors,

Unfortunately, I have very bad news to report from our Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, Cassie McLaren. Her e-mail outlining vandalism in our neighborhood follows:

Subject: Woodmont Pool Vandalism
Sadly our Woodmont Pool was maliciously vandalized sometime last night. Please pass this on & if you know of anyone who may know about this call the nonemergency number of the police dept. Sometime last night someone dumped cans of paint in the pool which has led to not only the pool being closed, yet an incredible amount of work for folks to clean it up. This type of vandalism is getting out of hand. It doesn’t seem as if it’s “just teenage vandalism”, but more of a type of malicious behavior. Recently we have had cars broken in to, car windshields smashed, mailboxes destroyed, etc. etc. Please let your NW Captains know if you have any ideas about who may be doing this. Call the non emergency number and your NW Block Captain with any suspicions. Please call or email me with any thoughts or concerns.
